Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gretna). They put the hurt on the Altavista Colonels with a sharp 83-62 win on Friday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Colonels recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Gretna's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Altavista, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gretna will face off against Nelson County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Altavista, they will take on Dan River at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
