Baseball Recap: St. Clair Triumphs

St. Clair got themselves on the board against Northwest on Thursday, but Northwest never followed suit. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lions 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

St. Clair's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Bo Robbins, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

St. Clair's record now sits at 10-11. As for Northwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

St. Clair will host New Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Shamrocks will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Northwest, they will square off against Affton at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
