Belleview hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost three straight) but thanks in part to Al Johnson that streak is no more. The Belleview Rattlers enjoyed a cozy 53-36 victory over the Weeki Wachee Hornets on Saturday thanks in part to Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 boards. Those 18 points gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Weeki Wachee still got an impressive performance from Conner Boyle, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.

Belleview's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Weeki Wachee, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Belleview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-45 loss against Meadowbrook Academy on the 9th. As for Weeki Wachee, they will square off against Citrus at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weeki Wachee is facing Citrus at the right time seeing as Citrus is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
