Soccer Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They fell just short of the San Benito Greyhounds by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by just one goal.

This is the second loss in a row for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for San Benito, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on McAllen Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on February 4th. San Benito has already played their next game, a 3-3 win against IDEA Riverview on the 4th.
