Volleyball Recap: Ashton-Franklin Center Comes Up Short

Ashton-Franklin Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Somonauk Bobcats. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Ashton-Franklin Center's loss dropped their record down to 4-22. As for Somonauk, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

Ashton-Franklin Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Somonauk, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Polo on the 25th.
