Saucon Valley took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Lehighton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Indians on Tuesday, sneaking past 2-1. The two-run effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Noah Hubert was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Hubert wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cole Hubert, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run.

Saucon Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Lehighton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-4 record this season.
