There's no place like home for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against the Hercules Titans by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Bruins: when they faced off against the Titans back in March, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

The win didn't come easy: Hercules scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 23-25, 25-23, 25-22.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from James Gentry, who had five digs and three aces. Those three aces gave Gentry a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Vincent Rodriguez, who had 13 kills, eight digs, and two aces.

St. Patrick-St. Vincent's victory bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Hercules, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.

Coincidentally, St. Patrick-St. Vincent and Hercules will both be playing Saint Mary's the next time they take the court. The Bruins will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Titans will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th.
