Basketball Recap: Samueli Academy Takes a Loss

Samueli Academy lost against Coastal Academy back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Samueli Academy Firewolves fell 58-47 to the Coastal Academy Stingrays.

Samueli Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Coastal Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Samueli Academy will head out to face off against Calvary Chapel at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Samueli Academy is facing Calvary Chapel at the right time seeing as Calvary Chapel is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Coastal Academy, they are taking a road trip to challenge Calvin Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Coastal Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
