Baseball Recap: Madison Comprehensive Comes Up Short

Madison Comprehensive lost against Clear Fork back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rams fell 7-4 to the Colts. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aiden Proctor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Cameron Kuhn was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Madison Comprehensive's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Clear Fork, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison Comprehensive will face off against Dover at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Crimson Tornadoes' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Clear Fork, they will take on East Knox at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
