Basketball Recap: Silverdale Academy Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Silverdale Academy had won three straight games and Kinsley Owen did her part to make it four on Saturday. The Silverdale Academy Seahawks sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 60-57 victory over the King's Academy Lions thanks in part to Owen, who went 9 of 12 on her way to 25 points and eight assists. Owen is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Silverdale Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for King's Academy, with the defeat, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-2.

Silverdale Academy will challenge Grace Christian Academy at 2:00 p.m. on January 11th. As for King's Academy, they will venture away from home to take on Lakeway Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
