Baseball Recap: Stanley Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwood, Stanley was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Ebarb Rebels an 8-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won three games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Stanley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casen Paddie, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs. Brody Files also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Stanley's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Ebarb, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Stanley will challenge Natchitoches Central at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ebarb, they will square off against DeRidder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
