Madden Spicer gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2025 on Thursday. He was dialed in as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Starks back in April of 2025, so they probably should've seen this coming. Spicer has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
