Softball Recap: Central Mountain Wildcats vs. DuBois Beavers

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Central Mountain had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They skirted past the DuBois Beavers 13-11. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Central Mountain considering their two-run performance the game before.

Katelyn Bowman was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and a double while going 3-for-5. Another player making a difference was Cora Myers, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with a home run, three RBI, and two runs.

The victory made it two in a row for Central Mountain and bumps their season record up to 14-5. As for DuBois, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

Central Mountain will be playing in front of their home fans against Penn-Trafford at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Central Mountain is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season. DuBois does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
