Basketball Recap: Perryville Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Perryville can now relate to. They were beaten by the Harding Academy Wildcats 58-31 on Saturday. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 127th, while the Wildcats are ranked 22nd).

With the defeat, Perryville broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-13. As for Harding Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.
