Baseball Recap: South Putnam Eagles vs. Greencastle Tiger Cubs
South Putnam had lost 12 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Saturday they dropped their record down to 5-8 to make it 13. They lost 14-4 to the Greencastle Tiger Cubs. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Eagles who fell 4-2 when the teams previously met back in May of 2023.

South Putnam saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Mullin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. The Eagles are 5-2 when Mullin posts two or more runs, but 0-6 otherwise.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Putnam will face off against Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greencastle, they will head out to face off against Park Tudor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
