Basketball Recap: Bolivar Comes Up Short

If Bolivar was riding high fresh off their 64-43 takedown of Central last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bolivar Liberators fell 48-39 to the Aurora Houn Dawgs on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Liberators in their matchups with the Houn Dawgs: they've now lost three in a row.

Bolivar's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Aurora, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

While Bolivar had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
