Soccer Recap: Petersburg Takes a Loss

Petersburg managed to slip by Colonial Heights the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crimson Wave lost 4-0 to the Colonials on Tuesday. Petersburg were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Colonial Heights earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Petersburg's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1. As for Colonial Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Petersburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Dinwiddie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Colonial Heights will square off against rival Prince George at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
