Volleyball Recap: Conneaut Area Comes Up Short

Conneaut Area and Fairview squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Conneaut Area had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Courtney Perrye paced Conneaut Area's offense, picking up eight kills. Perrye got some help from Kori Bova and her 23 assists. Finally, Breanne Dendis kept Conneaut Area's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Conneaut Area's loss dropped their record down to 18-12-5. As for Fairview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8-1.

Conneaut Area does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fairview, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Corry on the 28th.
