Volleyball Recap: Mount Pisgah Academy Comes Up Short

Mount Pisgah Academy entered their matchup against Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mountaineers lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

While Mount Pisgah Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-23.

Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy was led to victory by Gracie Szucs and Anna Cox. Szucs had 13 digs and two aces, while Cox had three blocks and two aces. That's the most aces Cox has posted over her last four contests.

Mount Pisgah Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Mount Pisgah Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bethel Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
