Ford proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Jefferson Bulldogs 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since February 29, 2024.

The victory (which was Ford's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Jefferson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.

Ford didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-2 loss against Atlanta on the 7th. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Queen City is coming into the contest with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Jefferson will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
