Baseball Recap: Floyd Central Comes Up Short

Floyd Central and Jeffersonville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Floyd Central had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Red Devils by a score of 2-1. The Highlanders haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Floyd Central now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Jeffersonville, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Floyd Central nor Jeffersonville have any future games scheduled.
