William Penn was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to sixth in Blue Hen Flight - A. The Colonials defeated Concord 12-6 earlier in the week.
Middletown extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Wilmington Charter, 49-8. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Cavaliers.
DuPont's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Tigers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ramsey Lowery has thrown for 563 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Quadree Henderson has 11 catches for 208 yards. Jonathan Bell leads the league in rushing with 180 yards.
The marquee game in Blue Hen Flight - A this week will be the clash between Appoquinimink and Glasgow. Appoquinimink comes into the matchup ranked 14th in the state, while the Dragons ranks 25th.
Middletown took down Wilmington Charter 49-8 last week, the largest margin of any game.
