Baseball Recap: Hickory Red Tornadoes vs. North Iredell Raiders        
        
		
            
 After losing to North Iredell the last time they met, Hickory decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hickory Red Tornadoes came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Iredell Raiders  on Tuesday and snuck past  5-4.
 Hickory saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Matthew Lefevers, who  went 1-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.  Brady Stober was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 Hickory's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for North Iredell, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-8.
 Hickory will look to defend their home field  on Friday against St. Stephens at 7:00  p.m. North Iredell will take on West Rowan at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. West Rowan will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  victory, something North Iredell surely won't give up without a fight.
