Basketball Recap: St. Joseph-Ogden's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

St. Joseph-Ogden and Warrensburg-Latham squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but St. Joseph-Ogden had to settle for second. They took a 62-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warrensburg-Latham Cardinals. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cardinals earlier this season, when they won 59-49.

St. Joseph-Ogden moved to 21-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points over those games. As for Warrensburg-Latham, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 29-4.

As of now, neither St. Joseph-Ogden nor Warrensburg-Latham have any future games scheduled.
