Basketball Recap: Fort Cobb-Broxton Sets Scoring Season-High Against Carnegie

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fort Cobb-Broxton). They blew past the Carnegie Wildcats, posting a 78-47 victory. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kevin Galvez, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 10 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Ken Whittington, who posted ten points.

The win made it two in a row for Fort Cobb-Broxton and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for Carnegie, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
