Softball Recap: Santa Teresa Takes a Loss

If Santa Teresa was feeling good fresh off their 18-0 takedown of Mountain View last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Santa Teresa came up short against the Ruidoso Warriors on Tuesday, falling 24-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Desert Warriors have suffered since May 2, 2024.

Santa Teresa's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Ruidoso, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Santa Teresa will challenge Cobre at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ruidoso, they will be taking part in a tournament against Raton at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
