Volleyball Recap: Hermitage Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Hermitage faced off against J.R. Tucker on Tuesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

When it comes to explaining why Hermitage lost, don't look at Lauren Fitzgerald. Despite the final result, she had 12 kills, ten digs, ten aces, and five blocks.

Hermitage's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for J.R. Tucker, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hermitage will challenge Deep Run at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for J.R. Tucker, they will face off against L.C. Bird at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
