Basketball Recap: Savoy Comes Up Short

Savoy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 45-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bonham Warriors on Tuesday. The Cardinals were probably out for revenge after losing 27-23 to them when the teams met back in December of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Savoy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Bonham, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Savoy will head out to challenge Dodd City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bonham, they will be playing at home against Pittsburg at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Pittsburg will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Bonham surely won't give up without a fight.
