Basketball Recap: Preston Scott Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat North Oconee

Queen's Grant picked up another tournament win on Friday. They skirted past the North Oconee Titans 59-57.

Queen's Grant's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Preston Scott, who went 7-for-11 to rack up 20 points and six assists. Those 20 points gave Scott a new career-high. Mekhi Allen was another key player, shooting 56% from the field on his way to 12 points along with eight boards and three steals.

Queen's Grant's record is now 5-3. As for North Oconee, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-1.

Queen's Grant is on the road again on Saturday to play Wilson Academy at 2:30 p.m. Queen's Grant will be up against Wilson Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 70.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Oconee, they will square off against East Hall at 5:30 p.m. on December 6.
