Softball Recap: Badger Takes a Loss

If Badger was riding high fresh off their 10-2 takedown of Wilmot on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Badgers came up short against the Waunakee Warriors on Saturday, falling 16-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Badgers have suffered since April 3rd.

Badger's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5. As for Waunakee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-7.

Badger wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 4-3 defeat against Reedsburg on the 26th. As for Waunakee, they have also already played their next game, an 18-3 victory against Tomahawk on the 26th.
