 The West Davidson Dragons will head out on the road to  take on  the Glenn Bobcats at 7:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
 Glenn is hoping to do  on Wednesday what South Davidson couldn't  on Tuesday: put an end to West Davidson's winning streak, which now stands at six games. West Davidson never let South Davidson onto the board and left with  a   16-0  win. That's two games straight that West Davidson has won by  exactly 16  runs.
  Thomas Hester was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Hester has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Hester was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  double.
 In other batting news, West Davidson let  Ethan McCloskey and  Mason Miller loose on the outfield. McCloskey  scored two  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-2, while  Miller  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Miller has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played.  Nicholas Tierney was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Meanwhile, Glenn got the win against Mount Tabor  on Monday by a conclusive  10-0. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Glenn.
  Carmine Lancaster spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered  just zero earned runs on one hit and racked up nine Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Evan Britt and  Brayden Winters did most of the damage at the plate:  Britt  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3, while  Winters  went 2-for-3 with three  runs and a  triple. The team also got some help courtesy of  Chase Gora, who  went 2-for-3 with a  double and  an  RBI.
 West Davidson has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record  this season. As for Glenn, they now  have a winning record of 9-8.
 The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. West Davidson has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 8.6  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Glenn struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.1.
