North Tonawanda extended their losing streak to nine on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 1-9 in the process. They fell 10-5 to the Lewiston-Porter Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 back in April.

Aiden Shingleton was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off seven hits.
