Softball Recap: Las Lomas Takes a Loss

After flying high against Washington last Friday, Las Lomas came back down to earth. The Knights lost 10-0 to the Northgate Broncos on Wednesday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Knights were not able to get on the board.

Las Lomas now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Northgate, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Las Lomas wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-5 loss against Benicia on the 12th. As for Northgate, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dublin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Broncos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gaels have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
