Volleyball Game Preview: Stargate School Eagles vs. Denver Waldorf Spartans

The Stargate School Eagles will face off against the Denver Waldorf Spartans at 10:30 a.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Stargate School heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They came up short against D'Evelyn, falling 3-0. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

While Stargate School had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Denver Waldorf unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pueblo South.

The final score came out to 25-13, 20-25, 25-17, 25-10.

Stargate School's loss dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Denver Waldorf, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-5.
