Arlington typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Leipsic proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Arlington Red Devils. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
One reason for the win was Leipsic's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-15, 25-7.
Leipsic was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arlington only served five.
Leipsic's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-1. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-7.
Leipsic and Continental are set to duel on Thursday. Arlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
