Gardiner is  a perfect 10-0 against Lincoln Academy since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers will host the Eagles  at 4:00  p.m. Lincoln Academy took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Gardiner, who comes in off a win.
Having struggled with three  losses in a row, Gardiner  turned things around against Morse  on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Shipbuilders by a score of  7-3.
 SOPHIA MARRONE spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and two unearned) runs on four hits.
 At the plate, Gardiner let  MOLLY TAKATSU and  TARYN NICHOLS run wild. TAKATSU  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  stolen base, while  NICHOLS  went 3-for-4 with one  run and one  RBI. That's the most  runs  TAKATSU has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of  CHEYENNE GOODMAN, who  went 2-for-3 with two  RBI.
Meanwhile, Lincoln Academy lost  20-1 to Leavitt on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
 Lincoln Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  O Ball, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with one  RBI.
 Lincoln Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Gardiner, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-8.
 Everything went Gardiner's way against Lincoln Academy in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024, as Gardiner made off with  a  9-1 victory. Will the Tigers repeat their success,  or do  the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
