Basketball Recap: Yelm Comes Up Short

Yelm was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 38th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Olympia Bears, falling 72-21. While losing is never fun, the Tornados can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Bears are ranked 78th).

Yelm's loss dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Olympia, they pushed their record up to 14-7 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

As of now, neither Yelm nor the Bears have any future games scheduled.
