Hillsboro won the last time they faced Halstead and things went their way on Friday too. The Hillsboro Trojans strolled past the Halstead Dragons with points to spare, taking the game 61-45. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while the Dragons are ranked 206th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hillsboro's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-6-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points over those games. As for Halstead, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
