Basketball Recap: Redford Union Takes a Loss

Redford Union lost against Thurston back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Redford Union Panthers took a 49-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Thurston Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 208th, while the Eagles are ranked 95th).

This is the second loss in a row for Redford Union and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Thurston, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Redford Union Panthers challenge the Annapolis Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thurston, they will take on Melvindale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
