Football Game Preview: Shady Side Academy Bulldogs vs. Seton LaSalle Rebels + Official Tickets

Shady Side Academy is 0-3 against Seton LaSalle since September of 2016 but things could change on Saturday. The Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Rebels at 4:00 p.m. Shady Side Academy has given up an average of 30.7 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Shady Side Academy is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against South Allegheny on Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bulldogs were dealt a 62-21 defeat at the hands of the Gladiators. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 304th, while the Gladiators are ranked 144th).

Meanwhile, Seton LaSalle waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They claimed a resounding 53-0 victory over the Vikings. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Rebels just coasted through the last quarter.

Seton LaSalle's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Shady Side Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Shady Side Academy was dealt a bruising 65-12 defeat at the hands of Seton LaSalle when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
