Volleyball Recap: Tintic Extends Winning Streak to Four

Tintic waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Everything went their way against the Dugway Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Miners also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Tintic was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-9, 25-15.

Their offense was headlined by Kendall Snell and Kailee Carter, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Kyah Farr and her 13 assists. Carter also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Makenna Underwood, racking up three apiece.

Tintic's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Dugway, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Tintic will be playing in front of their home fans against Manila at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dugway, they will head out on the road to face off against Wendover at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
