Basketball Recap: Red Cloud Skates Past Franklin with Ease

Red Cloud won the last time they faced Franklin and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors really took it to the Flyers for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-41 win. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

Mason Bolin had another great game (as he tends to do), dropping a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards. That's the most rebounds he has posted since back in December of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Ely, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards.

Red Cloud was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. They are 14-1 when they've passed the ball that well.

Several Flyers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caiden Peterman, who scored 19 points. Peterman continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Isaac Haack was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

Red Cloud is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.5 points over those games. As for Franklin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Red Cloud has already played their next contest, a 54-30 win against Blue Hill on the 24th. As for Franklin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 59-36 loss against Wilcox-Hildreth on the 23rd.
