Preview: Webster Schroeder Warriors vs. Gates Chili Spartans        
        
		
            
 Webster Schroeder and Gates Chili are an even 5-5 against one another  since January of 2018, but  not for long. The Webster Schroeder Warriors will head out on the road to  take on  the Gates Chili Spartans at 7:15  p.m.  on Friday. Hopefully Webster Schroeder is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Gates Chili in New York (Webster Schroeder is ranked 136th, while Gates Chili is ranked 577th).
 After a string of three wins, Webster Schroeder's good fortune finally ran out  last Wednesday. They took a  57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hilton.
 Meanwhile, Gates Chili suffered a  rough 76-53 loss at the hands of Penfield  on Wednesday. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Gates Chili in their matchups with Penfield: they've now lost three in a row.
 Despite the  loss, Gates Chili saw an underclassman step up:  Joey Vigerzi  scored 20 points along with two  steals. Vigerzi has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last three times he's  played.  Jeremy Tantalo was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Webster Schroeder's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Gates Chili, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.
 Webster Schroeder beat Gates Chili 74-61  in their previous matchup  back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Webster Schroeder since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
