            With a playoff win on the line, Michigan Lutheran Seminary rose to the challenge  on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Holton Red Devils, sneaking past  4-3. That's two games straight that the Cardinals have won by  just one  run.
 Ally Coffey made a big impact no matter where she played. She  pitched seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run.
 Coffey wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Addison Whitmer, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  run.
Michigan Lutheran Seminary is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-10 record  this season. As for Holton, they moved to 14-15 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
