Basketball Recap: Boone County Comes Up Short

After soaring to 68 points the game before, Boone County was a bit more limited in their match on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a 67-20 loss at the hands of the Cooper Jaguars. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Boone County has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-23 record this season. The win (which was Cooper's fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-5.

Boone County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cooper, they will take on Ryle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cooper knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Ryle likes a good challenge.
