Baseball Recap: Comanche Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Comanche's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Peaster Greyhounds on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Greyhounds: they've now lost four in a row.

Kye Keeter made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.

Comanche's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Peaster, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Looking ahead, Comanche will face off against Tolar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rattlers have averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Peaster, they will challenge Breckenridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
