Basketball Game Preview: Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs vs. Twin River Titans

Humphrey-Lindsay has gone 9-1 against Twin River recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Humphrey-Lindsay Bulldogs will challenge the Twin River Titans at 7:30 p.m. Humphrey-Lindsay is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.3 points per game this season.

Humphrey-Lindsay saw some tournament action on Friday. They came out on top against Tekamah-Herman by a score of 69-56. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Owen Kurtenbach continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double with 23 points and nine rebounds. His evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. Another player making a difference was Gavin Groteluschen, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points and seven boards.

Meanwhile, Twin River played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by Howells-Dodge 75-42. The Titans haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Twin River now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Humphrey-Lindsay, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Humphrey-Lindsay came up short against Twin River when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 45-37. Can Humphrey-Lindsay avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
