Softball Game Preview: Agape Christian Knights vs. Century Centurions

Agape Christian is 0-5 against Century since April of 2022 but things could change on Thursday. The Knights are taking a road trip to face off against the Centurions at 4:30 p.m.

Agape Christian is headed into Thursday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game last Tuesday. They lost 9-2 to Cobden.

Meanwhile, Century had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Pharaohs as they made off with a 16-1 victory. Considering the Centurions have won five contests by more than ten runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Century's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Agape Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Agape Christian might still be hurting after the 20-3 defeat they got from Century in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
