Baseball Recap: Manasquan Comes Up Short

If Manasquan was feeling good fresh off their 8-2 takedown of Point Pleasant Beach on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Warriors took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Garnet Gulls on Friday. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Garnet Gulls earlier this season, when they won 8-2.

Manasquan's loss dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Point Pleasant Beach, their record is now 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manasquan will host Liberty at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Point Pleasant Beach, they will welcome Toms River North on Saturday.
