Volleyball Game Preview: West Broward Bobcats vs. Columbus Explorers

The West Broward Bobcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Columbus Explorers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

West Broward heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Thursday. They fell 3-1 to Cypress Bay. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Lightning: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Columbus faced Miami in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Explorers lost 3-0 to the Stingarees. It was the first time this season that the Explorers let down their fans at home.

Columbus couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Miami a tough time in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 31-29, 25-21.

Columbus suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 24-3. As for West Broward, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6.
